Annual Return of Books 2013

Long loan items are due for return or renewal by Friday 31st May 2013.

If you are graduating this year, please note that all loans must be returned to the library and any outstanding fines paid. Failure to do so will mean that you will not be allowed to graduate.

If you are continuing your studies, all loans, except those issued before June 2011 which have already been renewed twice(these must be returned), may be renewed for the next academic session from Thursday 16th May. This can be done at any library issue/enquiry point or through the self-renewal option on the library catalogue. If you have  particular problems with any of the items and need to speak to a member of staff please call this number 01224 273824 (09.00-17.00 Monday – Friday)

All loans will remain subject to recall at all times, so please remember:

  • Check your borrower record is clear before you leave Aberdeen
  • Be aware that loans may not be taken abroad without specific permission
  • Check your Aberdeen University mail account regularly as recall notification will be by email to this account

If you will be unable to access your account, please complete a Summer Vacation Library Notification Form. These are also available from the Medical Library.

Failure to return or renew items on loan will result in the imposition of fines on your borrower record. The rate of fines will escalate daily for every item overdue. You are therefore recommended to take action regarding your loans promptly.

For more information,  please read the library web page Annual Return 2013.
