Aberdeen Art:laB’s current exhibition, Art:laB DeNovo, is now entering its final week of display in the atrium of the IMS building on the Foresterhill campus. The exhibition combines digital imaging with traditional and mixed media approaches with the aim of bringing together the fields of science and art. It features the work of seven internationally exhibiting artists with an array of backgrounds and motivations, including the University of Aberdeen’s own award-winning microscopist Kevin Mackenzie.

Additionally, there are pieces on display by Elina Partheniou and Anne Campbell, the winners of a competition to have works included at the event, and a further two entrants, Dagmara Kociszewska and Flora Groening, were selected to have their work included on the exhibition’s HD screens.

The exhibition can be viewed in the IMS until Friday the 22nd of May. A brief closing event is planned for Friday afternoon, so make sure you head along this week to enjoy the fascinating array of artwork on display!
