Foresterhill Exercise Classes

Yoga poseAll the classes listed below are free to University of Aberdeen and NHS staff and no booking is necessary for them.

Hatha Yoga at Foresterhill
(Suttie Centre, Room 402)

Hatha Yoga is multilevel, so suitable for all abilities.  The content of the class includes physical postures, breathing practices, relaxation, and meditation.

JogScotland (Polwarth Reception)

JogScotland is group lead jogging sessions for complete beginners to advanced runners. At each session our experienced jog leaders will lead joggers on various routes around the local area.

Friskis & Svetis (Suttie Centre, Room 217)

Freskis & Svetis is a fun and sweaty class suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Made up of cardio and floor work, it’s low impact and you get to decide how hard you want to work.

Zumba (Suttie Centre, Room 217)

Zumba dance based exercise class for all abilities.

Aerobics (Suttie Centre, Room 217)

Aerobics is a fun and sweaty class suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

Core & Restore (Suttie Centre, Room 217)

Core & Restore is a rejuvenating, mind-body class that will leave you feeling long, strong, calm, and centered. Using Pilates method core strengthening exercises and yogic flexibility and relaxation techniques, Core & Restore is the perfect way to tone and unwind at the end of a long day. The class is suitable for all levels of ability including beginners – just turn up in loose, warm, comfy clothing. You may wish to bring along your own yoga mat and blanket, but this is not essential.
